Hellooo and Happy Friday Gareth,
- When was the last time you took a big risk?
- When was the last time that you went all-in? When was the last time you learned to do something new?
- When was the last time you jumped in the deep end, not knowing the outcome?
If these are questions you can only answer with “A long time ago” then it is time to shake things up.
One of the downfalls of humans is that we get comfortable.
Getting comfortable is a dangerous place to be.
- there is nothing to learn there
- there is no excitement
- there is no fulfilment
- there is no purpose
- there is no growth
Ask yourselves these questions each week, to make sure you are not letting your future self down!
I hope you enjoy this week’s Anabolic Lifestyle Newsletter!
Advice shared with me, that may help you too:
Subconscious Behaviour Patterns Repeat
It takes years and years of inner work to become conscious of your programming.
Most of us will never reach true enlightenment, or deep self-awareness.
That’s why we repeat behaviours…
Either behaviours we learned from our parents, or one’s that were passed down from older generations through our DNA.
- Being honest with yourself is one of the hardest things ever
- Finding the strength to admit your weak spots is something your ego does not want to be part of.
Having blindspots is part of human nature, but don’t let them be your downfall.
To help explain, I created this video, You’re A Victim of Your Subconscious Programs, with Dr Bruce Lipton, from when he appeared on the Podcast years ago.
Something which I have learnt:
Carving Out Thinking Time is Crucial
You are distracted.
You’re reading this, but you’re probably rushing through it because there is the next think you need to do, thing you need to watch, 100s on other emails you need to get through.
The sad reality of the modern world, saturated with information, is that we are not focused anymore.
Our brains have become addicted to multiple streams of input.
- You’re brainwashing yourself
- You’re scrolling your life away
- You only ‘function’ with distractions
- You’re training your own mind to need over stimulation
To become SUPERHUMAN
- You need to focus
- You need discipline
- You need quiet thinking time
- You need to carve out time for yourself
Otherwise you are going to turn into the robots they want you to become.
I really enjoyed this video below, helping explain things.
