Gubba - Episode 131

“You want to be thoughtful with what kind of water you are giving your plants”

I’m extremely inspired by the tenacity and courage of my guest this week. It takes a special type of person and bravery to do what she is singlehandedly creating.

Gubba is a 5th generation homesteader. Her forebears eked out a grim existence on the windswept, barren prairies, where they established the largest sheep and cattle operations in their regions.

In 2021, she left city life for the country, and begun her own homesteading journey.

On her farm, she grows vegetables in the garden, nurtures animals in the pastures, handpumps water from the well, and warms her house with wood from a nearby forest. Everything is pesticide free.
