Hannah Ward - Episode 174

“Kids don’t know how to read in the USA children. They are graduating from high school unable to read”

Hannah Ward, is a special lady trying to tackle the American literacy crisis, with only 60% of American’s being able to read.

She is a homeschooling mother and an English teacher who has taught students from preschool to university.

She says that parents who read, should teach kids phonics and read out aloud together.

As a child, she loved adapting books like Charlotte’s Web into accessible plays with American Sign Language, which sparked the bookworm in her and love for storytelling.

Hannah shares free lessons online to empower literacy worldwide, believing it’s a game-changer for health, poverty, and human growth.
