I hear a lot of Dad’s say they get bored and don’t like to play. But, as with many things in life it’s the things we avoid, or don’t want to do which are exactly the things that we must be doing!

Essentially your child just loves being around you, because you are their everything.

For your child – a Mom’s hug, is equivalent to Dads playing with them. It’s an exchange of love, of oxytocin, of the feeling of being secure.

Do not underestimate your role as the playmaker.
