I know Gareth from my previous firm so he wasn’t unfamiliar to me and he was comfortable to chat to.

The problem I had was that I was not inspired or motivated in my role and I had a sense of being unsettled. I felt that I had no solution to this or how to proceed and did not know how to explore other avenues. I felt like I was trapped and suffocating.

The reason I got a coach was because I felt I needed some help and direction and to think outside of the box and explore ideas which I might not have otherwise considered.

The biggest benefit I have experienced is to be honest with myself and others, as well as being more courageous and less fearful. This due to Gareth’s persistence in the questioning and generally being positive and supportive.

Now I feel a sense of relief and feel that there is light at the end of the tunnel. I feel a lot less stressed as I know that I have made a decision and I feel more relaxed. I was at a cross roads and I feel that the coaching helped bring things to a conclusion and prompted decision making.

I really looked forward to our sessions and the tasks set were eye opening for me. The only thing I would say is that he course work was challenging and time consuming so it is important to leave enough time to do it.

Working with Gareth really helped me with making some major decisions concerning my career. I highly recommend him.
