When I lived in London, our groups of friends adopted an idea where every couple of month’s we would go to someone’s house on the weekend for a culinary themed catch up!! Any excuse to eat good food, right?
Most of the time, it ended up in a fun and boozy affair! Those were the days, when alcoholic calories did just not count 🤣
The idea was to make sure that we kept our friendships bubbling, because it’s easy to get lazy when you don’t put in the effort.
- If people can’t make the date, then the group would be smaller
- Set a budget, so that it’s affordable for all
- Fussy eaters, need to bring their own food. NB!
- As a host, be creative with your theme
- Introduce each other to new food types
- Mostly, bring good vibes and have fun
